A hybrid high‐efficiency nine‐level inverter with high DC voltage utilization ratio

چکیده

This paper proposes a new hybrid nine-level inverter topology with high efficiency and dc voltage utilization ratio, which provides potential for renewable energy power conversion. The proposed can synthesize up to nine levels only ten switching devices flying capacitor (FC). To improve the operation efficiency, hybrid-device based on Si SiC is proposed. total device cost of this much lower than all-SiC-based inverter. Compared other advanced multilevel inverters, notable feature more comprehensive performance In addition having fewer components higher ratio 2.5 times that traditional such as Neutral Point Clamped (NPC), FC, Active NPC (ANPC). A FC balancing strategy redundancy states three step method implemented reduce ripple. Besides, cooperative control between dc-link capacitors ensures neutral-point balancing. stresses analysis design guidelines are discussed in detail. comparison some existing topologies has also been made highlight its performance. Experimental results verify validity schemes.
